With 23 50+ scores, Sachin Tendulkar, the Indian legend, remained at the top prior to the start of the ongoing T20 extravaganza, until the veteran, who was on par with Tendulkar when he came into the arena against Pakistan, bagged his 24th 50+ score and eventually helped India cross the line.
Having scored half-centuries against Netherlands, Bangladesh and England, Kohli now remains at the top with 27 50+ scores in Cricket’s governing body events. Amongst the active cricketers, the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma stands closer to him with 22 50+ scores in World Body events.
