Fans took Dinesh Karthik’s name in front of Murali Vijay in the recent game of the Tamil Nadu Premier League. However, the latter came up with a cheeky reaction to it. In a video uploaded by a Twitter user, named Muthu, the fans could be seen taking Dinesh Karthik’s name while Murali Vijay was fielding at the boundary line.
The latter reacted calmly by clapping his hands. This traces back to the old controversy involving Dinesh Karthik, Murali Vijay, and Nikita Vanjara. Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay settled the controversy maturely and had been a part of the Indian team as well.

Vijay is currently playing for the Trichy team in the ongoing TNPL 2022. He has made a superb comeback in the T20 format. The 38-year old batter has earlier told to ESPNCricinfo that he wanted to the best in TNPL. He told that he had taken a break to take care of his family.
The batter has been in tremendous form and currently the ranking fifth in the run-getters list.
“I have a young family and wanted to take care of them. I’m enjoying my cricket now and I’m feeling fit, hopefully, I can do my bit for my team and TNPL,” Vijay said to ESPNCricinfo prior to TNPL.
Karthik, on the other hand, has travelled with the Indian team for the T20I series against West Indies. The T20I series consisting of five match will be played on July 29, August 1,2,6 and 7. Karthik earned his T20I call up post Indian T20 league.
The wicket-keeper batter has been terrific form of late. He even finished games single-handedly for the Bangalore team. Team India had already won the ODI series against West Indies. The third ODI will be played at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. Rohit Sharma will make his return for the T20I series and will captain the team. It will be an exciting series to watch out for.
With the new approach under Rohit Sharma, India has been super aggressive so far in the T20I format. And that has worked in favor of the team.
