The ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2022 is going at an incredible pace with teams squandering for a place at the top. It is however only the Nellai Royal Kings and Siechem Madurai Panthers who remain unbeaten with every other team having faced defeat.
On 6th July, the mid and bottom teams clash with each other in hopes of climbing out of the depths. Let’s look at the two games at hand.
Match 11: Lyca Kovai Kings vs Salem Spartans
In the 11th match of the TNPL 2022, sixth-placed LKK clash with the bottom-placed Salem Spartans, both of whom are without a win in this season’s TNPL. The LKK were beaten by SMP in their last match on the second last ball, which shows their improvement from the first match.
Salem Spartans on the other hand were beaten by NRK in just 17.4 overs and need to improve further if they are to win the next game.

Match 12: Ruby Trichy Warriors vs Chepauk Super Gillies
The second game from July 6th is between RTW and CSG, who are fourth and seventh in the league table. CSG are without a win in the TNPL meanwhile RTW have won one of their two games. RTW lost to ITT in their last game by four wickets, whereas CSG lost to SMP by four wickets as well.
