Two teams were eliminated while two made their way to the PGL CS2 Major on the second day of European RMR B. Along with that, MOUZ seems to have shut down the unstoppable Team Spirit with a 2-0 victory in Round 3.
Cloud9 also won its duel with Team Vitality, making way to the Major. Vitality is left facing ENCE in the Round 4 qualifier match, while Team Spirit will Heroic and Apeks against ECSTATIC. Three of these teams will also make their way to the Major after Round 4.
On the other side, Astralis is also struggling. After securing their opening match, the team saw back-to-back defeats. Another loss will result in early elimination.

MOUZ dominates Team Spirit
After winning the IEM Katowice 2024 Team Spirit made a name for themselves. They defeated some of the best teams like Faze Clan and NaVi. However, their efforts fell short in front of MOUZ.
MOUZ defeated Team Spirit back to back, even on their own map pick. Despite their best efforts, MOUZ handed a swift 2-0 defeat to Spirit with a scoreline of 10-13 and 11-13.
Fans of Counter-Strike are not sure if it was a one-and-done thing from MOUZ or if there is more in store. As for Spirit, only time will tell if the win at the IEM Katowice was just them having a good day or the start of something big.
After all, they already have a spot secured for the upcoming Blast Premier, IEM Cologne 2024 and Esports World Cup.
