After a full day of drama, Indian Premier League franchises have announced their final retention lists. A total of 85 players have been released by the ten teams after the deadline. Amid huge speculations about Hardik Pandya’s homecoming to the Mumbai Indians, the Gujarat Titans retained him, spicing things up on Sunday.
However, Royal Challengers Bangalore have gone for a huge overhaul as they have released key bowlers like Josh Hazelwood, Wanindu Hasranga, and Harshal Patel. They will be going into the auction with a huge purse of INR 40.75 crore. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants will go with the least purse in the upcoming auction as they have just 13.15 crore INR remaining.
