The Andhra Premier League got off to a rain-affected start in the first two matches. None of the games were allowed a full 20 overs but were exciting, nonetheless. The third day of APL sees a double header as well. Let’s look at the preview for matches fifth and sixth of APL.
Match 5: Uttarandhra Lions vs Bezawada Tigers
The fifth game of the APL would be held between UTL and BT. UTL have won their first match against Rayalaseema Kings by five wickets. Ahitesh Varma and captain Shoaib Md Khan took two wickets each. Gulfaam Saleh was the top scorer for the team.
Bezawad Tigers have not played a game yet and would be looking to get a good start to the APL.

Match 6: Godavari Titans vs Rayalaseema Kings
The second match from 8th July in APL pits GOD and RYLS against each other. RYLS have won one and lost one game, whereas GOD have won their first match. Interestingly both teams have beaten the same team, Coastal Riders.
RYLS won their match by 28 runs whereas GOD won it by two runs. GOD captain KV Sasikanth came up with a calculative half-century (55 off of 47) to get his team to a respectable score. Abhishek Reddy from RYLS made an even better 78 from 52 and is expected to mount a great challenge to the GOD in the upcoming match. Captain Girinath Reddy came up with three wickets and led from the front.

The pitch is yet to produce a high-scoring game but that is to be expected as the first few games were affected by rain.
