Ahead of the big clash, the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has wished good luck to the ‘Men in Blue’ by dedicating a special poetry to the Indian team.

The ‘Big-B’ of Bollywood dedicated a remarkable poetry titled ‘Ae Neeli Jersey waalo’ on his famous show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ to boost the team’s confidence ahead of the mega clash. The entire audience began chanting ‘India-India’ at the end of the rousing poem.

India vs Pakistan Match in danger of getting washed out

Meanwhile, the Indian team arrived in Melbourne on Thursday ahead of their opening match. Amid the high anticipation of the big match between India and Pakistan, there are dark clouds hovering over its fate as heavy rains are expected in Melbourne on Sunday.

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology has predicted the weather to be, “Cloudy. Very high (95 per cent) chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and evening. Winds southerly 15 to 25 km/h turning southeasterly during the evening.” There is a possibility that 4 to 10 mm of rainfall takes place on Sunday.

The weather in Melbourne on Friday was clear and there were no signs of rain. The Indian team practised in the nets under bright sunshine. However, from Friday onwards, there is heavy likelihood of showers till October 25 onwards.

The ‘Men-in-blue’ will look to get off to a winning start in the World Cup campaign. They will face tough competition from the Pakistan team led by Babar Azam who beat them in last year’s encounter at the World Cup. The two teams clashed recently during the Asia Cup last month where both teams managed to win one match each.

A minimum of five overs per side game will be played if the rain subsides before the cut-off time on Sunday. India will play against the Netherlands in their second match on 27th October.
