If there’s any player who’s ruled the last decade of international cricket it’s Virat Kohli. The star batter has scored runs one after the other in every calendar year and grew in stature to be touted as a modern great. Kohli broke several batting records across formats as his average crossed the 50-run mark in all the formats of international cricket. While there are some records that people might have a chance to break, there are some records that will take some doing inorder to break them. On that note, let’s take a look at the top three records of Virat Kohli that might never get broken:
1 Most Double hundreds as captain in Tests
Kohli took over the reins of Test captaincy from MS Dhoni in 2015 and took India to heights never seen before. While his tenure as a captain was extremely successful, Kohli also had a great run with the bat during his captaincy. He scored seven double-hundreds in Test Cricket as a captain which is the most by any Test skipper in the history of the game. He’s also the only player to score four double-hundreds in four consecutive Test series.
