Although MS Dhoni gathered over 11,000 runs in his entire career as the captain of the Indian team across all formats, he failed as a batter in the shortest format of the game. However, on the contrary, the three lions skipper Jos Buttler has already gathered 633 runs as captain in the T20Is and looks on course to surpass the former Indian captain. With age under his belt, Buttler can eventually score more as captain in the T20Is than the Ranchi-born.
