Shardul Thakur to tie knot with Mittali Parulkar in February 2023

Shardul Thakur is one of the trusted bowlers for team India and the pacer is a part of the Indian squad for the ongoing Test series against the Shakib Al Hasan-led Bangladesh team. The two teams are facing off in the first Test that kicked off on December 14, Wednesday and the pacer was benched for the game.

As things stand, the Hindustan Times reported on Saturday that Thakur and Mittali Parulkar, a founder of a baking startup, all are set to tie the knot on February 27, 2023. The duo got engaged last year and fans, on the other hand, went crazy over the same, coming up with wishes on their all social media accounts for the duo.

Parulkar, in an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, said that she was excited about their wedding and revealed her plans to make it one of the most memorable moments of their life. The right-arm pacer is all set to join his family on February 25, on the back of a packed schedule, as revealed by his fiance.

Further, Parulkar said that they are expecting over 200 to 250 guests for their wedding, with the initial venue being Goa although it was later changed to Mumbai. Thakur is one of the most loved cricketers from the Indian team and this news might come as the best news for them in the upcoming year.

“I have butterflies in my stomach. His schedule is packed; he is playing until February 24 and will only be able to join by February 25. So, I have taken charge. We are expecting almost 200 to 250 guests at the wedding; it’s going to be too hectic,” Parulkar was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

“Initially, we wanted to have a destination wedding in Goa, but given the logistics and so many people involved, it would have been extremely difficult. I’m currently finalising the designers. I’m certain that I will wear a nauvari saree for the main ceremony; for the rest, we are figuring it out. We are yet to lock in the final look,” she added.
