Yuvraj Singh was instrumental in helping India win the inaugural 20-20 World Cup in 2007. In the same edition, the left-hander demonstrated that hitting long sixes in T20 is second nature to him. His record of the fastest-ever half-century in T20Is, with the help of six sixes in an over against England, was the talk of the town.

However, his crucial 70-run knock of 30 balls against Australia in the tournament’s semi-finals holds a special place in history. On the last delivery of the tenth over, Yuvraj smashed Brett Lee’s delivery over the square leg, clearing the stands and becoming the tournament’s longest maximum by covering 119 metres.
