CBFC asks Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya to shorten sex scenes

Shahid Kapoor

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has decided to remove a “scene of sex act” from the upcoming romantic drama Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya‘. Bollywood Hungama claims that the movie also features “audio medication.”

The CBFC has “reduced the scene of sex acts by 25%,” per the report. Additionally, nine seconds of the scene were censored, according to the list. The private moment, which was previously 36 seconds long, is now only 27 seconds. ‘Drink’ has been used in place of ‘daru (alcohol)’ in the second half of the movie.

Additionally, the CBFC requested that the Hindi anti-smoking static message be added in a larger, easier-to-read font. On February 2, the CBFC approved the movie with a U/A certificate following the revisions. According to the censor certificate, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ has a duration of 143.15 minutes, or two hours, 23 minutes, and 15 seconds.

CBFC grades Shahid Kapoor starrer:

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon play the movie’s lead actors. The film investigates an impossibly romantic tale set in the unexplored realm of artificial intelligence (AI). Shahid portrays a robot scientist in the movie who eventually falls in love and weds Kriti’s character, Sifra, a highly intelligent female robot. The recently released teaser revealed that Shahid eventually developed feelings for the robot.

Directors Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi wrote and directed the movie. It’s been produced by Laxman Utekar, Jyoti Deshpande, and Dinesh Vijan. On February 9, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya will hit theatres. In addition to Shahid and Kriti, Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia are also in the movie.

Shahid recently discussed the movie at a promotional event. Shahid stated, “I was wondering why I haven’t done a love story for a long time. You frequently receive back-to-back films from the same genre. However, I wanted to take a different approach. This movie redefines the word “different,” as the subject matter is so uncommon that I could never have imagined doing it. For me, it’s a very novel and unique idea.”
