Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur stole the show with some impressive dancing moves during his Haldi ceremony. This is the wedding season in India and after KL Rahul and Axar Patel, now ‘Lord’ Shardul Thakur is set to marry Entrepreneur Mittali Parulkar. They will tie the knot on Monday 27, February in Palghar Maharashtra. Meanwhile, a video of Shardul’s Haldi ceremony is going viral on social media in which he can be seen fully enjoying his wedding functions.

A video of Shardul stealing the spotlight on the dance floor during his “Haldi” ceremony went viral on social media. In the video, Shardul could be seen dancing to the well-known song “Zingaat” while surrounded by friends and family. The video has amazed fans and has been extensively shared on social media.

Notably, after a long relationship, Shardul, and Mithali are now organizing their wedding. In November 2021, the couple got engaged in Mumbai. Together with Shardul’s old Mumbai Ranji colleagues Dhawal Kulkarni and Abhishek Nayar, Indian captain Rohit Sharma also attended the ceremony.

‘Lord’ Shardul set to join Team India ahead of ODI series

Shardul has been a prominent member of the Indian cricket team in all three formats over the past few years. Despite being a regular member in every overseas Test match for India, he was not selected for the current home series against Australia due to family reasons. Although, Shardul is set to return to the national team for the ODI series against Australia.

The three-match series will begin on March 17 with the opening ODI at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Shardul will use the opportunity to improve his chances of making it into India’s World Cup team in 2023.

Meanwhile, fans reacted to his traditional avatar and praised him for not making it filmy. A social media user said, “Now this is a proper marriage”
