Suryakumar Yadav is going through a rough patch of form the likes of which many few players get to experience. In this year’s IPL, the Mumbai Indians batter has made just 66 runs in 5 matches at a poor average of 13.20.
Fans were hoping for the 32-year to finally get going and bring out an innings the likes of what people have been seeing in the past. Yadav however disappointed yet again in Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians as he got out at just 3rd ball of his inning.
Yadav started off pretty well as he hit a 6 on the leg side. The six got fans going as many believed that it was finally time for the T20I specialist to fire on all guns. All hopes however were soon squashed as Yadav was caught out at point by a flying Aiden Markram.
Here’s how Twitter reacted as Suryakumar Yadav fails again:

As for Mumbai’s innings, the 5-time Champions reached 192/5 on the back of Cameron Green’s 64 off 40. The Australian batter hit 6 fours and 2 sixes to bring Mumbai out of their misery and take them to a respectable total.
Tilak Verma also contributed significantly as he made 37 off 17. Earlier Rohit Sharma started off positively as he made 28 off 18 with 6 fours. Ishan Kishan also looked in great knick as he made 38 with 3 fours and 2 sixes.
Mumbai batters however could not convert their start into a good score. It was the middle-order batter Green and Verma who took the team to a decent total.
