Almost two months after his last TV appearance, WWE superstar Roman Reigns is set to make a highly anticipated return. He has been advertised for the upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown following Fastlane 2023. This marks his comeback to the blue brand after a 63-day absence, with his last televised appearance dating back to August 11, 2023.
Notably, Reigns will be absent from the Fastlane event, leaving fans speculating as Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso gear up to take on sixteen-time World Champion John Cena and his mystery partner. It’s worth noting that in this last TV appearance, Reigns was attacked by his own cousin, Jey Uso, as the latter rebelled from the bodyline. It will be interesting to see if Reigns can take revenge.
Reigns’ reemergence on SmackDown carries significant importance, possibly laying the groundwork for a thrilling showdown at Crown Jewel 2023. The tribal chief’s return is generating buzz, especially surrounding the rumoured feud with LA Knight, set to unfold on the blue brand in just three weeks from today. Meanwhile, the Uso brothers are also divided between RAW and SmackDown, which will create a proper ruckus after Reigns’ return.
I was joking – Kevin Nash refutes comeback rumours
Former WWE superstar and World Champion Kevin Nash has refused to make a comeback in the ring. After speaking about the probability of him going back into the ring during a Royal Rumble game to confront CM Punk, Nash called it a joke. He said, “Woke up the next day with minimal soreness. I’m sorry, I’m putting some size back on. It’s just like… I promise you, man, all I want to do is go to the gym, and I’m not looking to… I’m just not looking to get in the ring,” Nash said.
It’s worth noting that Kevin Nash’s last game in WWE was TLC: Table Ladders and Chairs 2011. In the premium event, Nash faced Triple H only to lose a high-voltage game. However, since then, he hasn’t made a comeback and has now officially retired from the game. His latest comments on his daily podcast also refuted all rumours about his comeback.
