In September 2023, Ishaan Khatter made his first appearance in public alongside his purported girlfriend Chandni Bainz. Since then, the two have been spotted in Mumbai. Model Chandni Bainz regularly posts classy pictures of herself on Instagram. It’s said that she’s been dating actor Ishaan Khatter for a while. She currently resides in Mumbai, the same city as Ishaan. Chandni describes herself as a “fashion model based in Malaysia/India” in her Instagram bio. She has also hosted events in Malaysia and performed as an actor.

Punjabi, Malay, Hindi, and English are the four languages that 18-year-old Chandni Bainz claimed to be fluent in during an interview in 2020 with the Malaysian website Thread by Zalora. According to reports, Chandni Bainz was born in Malaysia in April 2002. In the same interview, she stated that she began her career in entertainment at the age of eleven, hosting an RTM (Radio Television of Malaysia) show and that she ‘gained a lot of experience and confidence as a young teenager and as a performer’.
At the age of four, Chandni Bainz received her first assignment for Mydin’s catalogue shoot. “When I was four years old, my first job was doing a catalogue shoot for Mydin. After that, when I was about 7 or 8 years old, I started going to a lot of auditions. I did get some jobs, but I remember getting turned down about 80% of the time,” Chandni had shared with Thread by Zalora.
Sunsilk was Chandni Bainz’s first Indian gig. She revealed, “It was a huge deal for me because creating an advertisement that would be shown throughout India was something I had always wanted to do. Sunsilk’s commercials feature some of my favourite Bollywood actresses, including Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt, who serve as brand ambassadors. I was happy to be involved in them.”
When asked to disclose something unexpected about herself in the 2020 interview, Chandni Bainz said that she had been offered a “Bollywood Netflix series.” At the time, she added that the Covid-19 pandemic was the reason it had been “possibly delayed/cancelled.”
