Former India opening batter, Virender Sehwag has lavished praise on Inzamam-ul-Haq. The latter played for Pakistan from 1991 to 2007. During this, he played 120 Tests, 378 ODIs, and a T20I in 2006. In Tests, the right-hander has 8830 runs including 25 hundreds and 46 fifties. In the 50-over format, the 1992 World Cup winner has 11379 runs to his name including 10 hundreds and 83 fifties. Apart from this, Haq only played one T20I.
Meanwhile, in an interview, Sehwag praised the former Pakistan skipper in an interview on Breakfast with Champions. The former said that even though the Asian continent has produced players such as Sachin Tendulkar, Inzamam was the best middle-order batter in the continent. When the likes of Sehwag and Haq played international cricket, they played against each other a lot. Apparently, from 2004 to 2007, India and Pakistan played at least a series every year.
