Virat Kohli has been at the centre of attention since the time India took to the field against Afghanistan on Wednesday. It was the second match for both teams in the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament. The game in New Delhi was extra special as it was Virat Kohli’s home ground and he was playing his second-ever World Cup game at the venue.

The feud ends with a hug and a handshake –
Naveen Ul Haq came out to bat when Rashid Khan fell to give India its eighth wicket. There were the usual Virat Kohli chants when the Afghan bowler came out to bat. It did not faze the 24-year-old as he went about his business with the bat in hand.
During the Indian batting, former India skipper Virat Kohli could be seen telling the crowd not to trouble Naveen Ul Haq. This caught the attention of every cricket fan as King Kohli won the hearts of everyone including Naveen Ul Haq.

The bowler came up to Kohli and the two hugged it out and shook hands to end the feud. There were words exchanged between the two and this time it was all pleasant as both had huge smiles on their faces. It was a huge relief for the Afghan bowler in particular who wouldn’t have to endure any more Kohli chants.
