The highly anticipated FIFA World Cup 2022 is fast approaching. With just a few weeks left before the start of the coveted event, many fans have started to flock to the middle east nation of Qatar. India is one such football-crazy nation with millions of such fans all across the country.
Owing to similar fandom, a homemaker from Kerala has ventured on a journey to Qatar World Cup. Naaji Noushi, a YouTuber who posts travel vlogs on her channel, began her journey in the early hours of Tuesday, October 18th in a Mahindra Thar SUV.
Kerala’s Transport Minister, Antony Raju flagged off the trip with village panchayat authorities, family and friends or Noushi present at the ceremony. The Lionel Messi fan would drive to Mumbai in her Thar following which she will board a ship and land in Oman. From there she will drive through the Arab countries including UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia before arriving in Qatar for the World Cup.

Any ordinary woman in Kerala can chase her dream- Naaji Noushi
“I am a person who has been dreaming to see an Indian team playing the FIFA World Cup. Through this innovative trip, I am trying to be a part of the gala by reaching there in an Indian-made vehicle,” she said. Additionally, she hoped to be a role model to other homemakers and girls and advised others to chase their dreams.
“If a woman like me- a homemaker, a wife and a mother of five- can realise my dreams, any ordinary woman in Kerala can chase her dreams confidently,” she added.
