WATCH: Former Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed scores hundred in first class cricket

It has been a run-fest in the Quaid-E-Azam Trophy in the match between Karachi Whites and Lahore Whites. On a flat wicket in Gaddafi Stadium, Karachi Whites batted first and are yet to finish their innings. They have been batting, batting, and batting Lahore Whites out of the game. Sarfaraz first scored a fifty and then continued to score a hundred. it is not often that the wicketkeeper batters get to score big hundreds. But Sarfaraz continued and played a long innings. Ahmed scored 150 and continued to get to his double hundred. With the tired bowlers in the middle, the job of Sarfaraz became a lot easier. He became one of the fewest wicketkeeper batters to score 200 in the tournament.

Sarfaraz is continuing to bash the Lahore Whites bowlers. There is no respite whatsoever for the bowlers on a wicket that has nothing in it for them. Along with Sarfaraz, four other batters scored a hundred. Khurram Manzoor, Ammad Alam, Asad Shafiq, and Rameez Aziz also scored a hundred for Karachi Whites against Lahore Whites. The bowlers were merely bowling machines in the middle, as they could do nothing on their part to stop the batters.

Sarfaraz is a Pakistan cricketer who played mostly in the 2010s. Recently, he made a comeback to the Pakistan Test side and scored a hundred as a wicketkeeper batter. Under the leadership of Ahmed, Pakistan won the Champions Trophy 2017. Pakistan defeated India in the final. Sarfaraz had also won the under-19 World Cup as a captain.
