WATCH: Fans gather near Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad ahead of CWC23 final between India and Australia

In the ongoing tournament, India has won ten games in a row and is the only unbeaten team.

India vs Australia

Fans have started gathering outside the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad before the crucial final game between India and Australia. The iconic match will be played in front of 1,30,000 people from 2:00 PM IST on Sunday. However, the madness for the game has peaked since India qualified for the final game.

In the latest visuals, a huge crowd outside the stadium can be seen cheering for the Men in Blue. The atmosphere is sparkling outside the ground as fans expect another masterclass performance from the Indian team. Fans are also hoping for revenge on Australia for their 2003 World Cup finals defeat, where the Ricky Ponting-led Aussies beat Sourav Ganguly’s India.

Here is the video:

It’s worth noting that while batting first, Aussie skipper Ricky Ponting hammered an iconic inning. He scored an unbeaten 140 runs off 121 balls in Johannesburg. His amazing batting performance helped Australia post a massive total of 359/2 in 50 overs. In response, India flattered against a quality Aussie pace attack. Despite Virender Sehwag’s half-century, India fell 125 runs short of the target.

Can India continue their winning run in the ODI World Cup 2023?

In the ongoing tournament, India has won ten games in a row and is the only unbeaten team. The Rohit Sharma-led team started their campaign against Australia in Chennai and will face Australia in Ahmedabad in the finals again. Skipper Rohit, along with other players, will be keen to continue their dominance on the field.

On the other hand, Pat Cummins-led Australia will be looking to continue their winning run. After facing two back-to-back defeats against India and South Africa, the Aussies are on top of their game, having won eight games in a row. However, they seemed flattered against South Africa in the finals, as they had to do a lot of hard work to chase 212 runs in 50 overs.
