Former UFC superstar Nate Diaz is set to face YouTuber Jake Paul in a boxing match in August this year. Ahead of their game BMF title holder Conor McGregor has come up with a prediction for the highly awaited match. Notably, both the Irishman’s dramatic matches in the octagon against Stockton’s best ended in victories for each fighter. After Diaz departed from the UFC in search of better opportunities, the speculation of a trilogy fight to end their feud waned.
Since then, Diaz has been scheduled to fight YouTube star Jake Paul in August. Conor McGregor, the most well-known opponent of Nate Diaz and someone who ‘The Problem Child’ previously hoped to face in a boxing match, gives his opinions on the contest, including a prediction for the winner. When Inside Fighting approached the Irishman for his prediction for the fight, he wasn’t afraid to say that he thought Nate Diaz would win with relative ease. He went on to say that he was eager to see his prediction come true.
McGregor said, “I think Nate Diaz slaps the head of him, and I look forward to seeing it. I’ll probably be on the Lamborghini just off the coast of Sicily. He should be back doing MMA if he is doing this little nothing-burger match with you. I couldn’t care less about this genre of boxing, I am sorry. Have a good one.”
