#3 Punjab
Punjab, the 2014 finalist, had the biggest buys not only in this edition but in the history of the Indian T20 League auction. They bagged English all-rounder Sam Curran for a whopping price of 18.5 crores. They also got their hands on Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikander Raza at the auction.
However, despite a great auction, Punjab lacks depth in their Indian players. Apart from captain Shikhar Dhawan and the young pace sensation Arshdeep Singh, Punjab does not have a stable Indian core. They will now look to groom some other young talent for the season.
