The second fixture of the Super 4s stage between India and Pakistan turned out to be a mouth-watering contest for the crowd. Both the teams gave their all on the field, but it was Pakistan who emerged victorious in the all-important clash. The Indian bowlers failed to defend 181 and their batting also lost momentum mid-way through the innings. There were many important moments in the game that team India failed to grab and ended up losing the game. Let’s take look at three reasons why India lost last night’s match against Pakistan:

The Indian openers gave an electrifying start to the team as they scored 55 runs in 5.1 overs. The Indian batters further went on to score 93 runs in the first 10 overs. However, they couldn’t quite capitalize on their explosive start and failed to reach the mark of 200 in 20 overs. The back-to-back dismissals of Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya in the 13th and 14th over put breaks on the scoring rate of India. The new batter Deepak Hooda failed to get his innings going and managed just 16 off 14 balls before getting dismissed.
