The final battle between top 16 Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) have begun at The Patriot Cup. Day one concludes with Reckoning Esports leading the pack with 51 points and one chicken dinner.
Next is Team Tamils who have been dominating the 2024 BGMI season. Currently, in second place with 45 points and one chicken dinner. Close behind in third place is one of the fan favourites, Gods Reign, with 41 and a chicken dinner.

Match Winners
The first match was secured by Entity Gaming with 24 points. However, the team did not manage to perform well in later matches. Match two was secured by Gods Reign with 21 points.
Following them were Day 1 champions Reckoning Esports with a 24-point win. AutoBotz Esports, who also had a great run, secured the fourth map with 17 points. The final map went to Team Tamilas again with a 17-point chicken dinner.
Intense battle across four days
Teams will have to face each other in 20 matches across four days. The one with the most point after the last match will be crowned champions. In case teams have similar points, the number of chicken dinners and finishes will decide the winner.
The tournament features a prize pool of Rs 8 lakh divided among the top eight teams. The top three will be taking the majority of the bag, with the winner getting Rs 2.5 lakh.
There are also separate rewards and trophies planned for the Most Valued Player of the tournament along with the most Dominating Player.
