The pan-Indian actor Rana Daggubati is known as the dark horse of the South film industry. Rana Daggubati happened to visit the sets of the upcoming film of Prabhas. He couldn’t help but feel extremely jealous of the magnum opus scale of Kalki AD 2898. The actor got candid about his experience in an interview with a leading media portal. Rana said, “I was jealous of someone for the first time when I visited Kalki’s set. Star Wars visual effects were my childhood favourites. I really had a great time watching that movie. Ironically, Nagi (Nag Ashwin) enjoyed seeing the movie as well. Fewer people understand it, too. It is similar to science fiction, and not very mainstream overall.”
He continues to add, “And I thought, “Sh*t, he’s making this, as soon as I stepped onto the set. He seems to be creating everything I have ever imagined. Furthermore, I recall that I didn’t speak with him that day. When I got home, I called him and told him, ‘Dude, I’m so jealous. I’m not sure why.’ Prabhas replied, ‘Dude, only when you’re jealous do I know I’m doing the right thing’. Additionally, it’s a science fiction tale infused with mythology. I’m really interested to see what that movie does. The largest star cast is in it. It possesses everything.”
