Former and current Australia skippers, Steve Waugh and Pat Cummins respectively met the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Not to forget when the Australian PM visited India during the BGT series early this year, both PMs met the players. The incident happened ahead of the Ahmedabad Test. Meanwhile, both teams have qualified for the final of the Test Championship final next month.
The Rohit Sharma-led side will play their second final, having lost the 2021 final against New Zealand. On the other hand, the Kangaroos are playing their maiden final after missing out last time. Meanwhile, with only a few weeks left in the summit clash, India PM Narendra Modi was seen shaking hands with Cummins and stood alongside 1999 World Cup-winning skipper Waugh.
The fans lost calm after the image went viral.
