Afghanistan and Lucknow Super Giants bowler, Naveen-ul-Haq pulled off ‘shut outside noise’ which is famous with KL Rahul. The latter, who also happens to be the LSG skipper, does this celebration whenever he scores a hundred. Currently, the right-hander has been ruled out of the ongoing IPL 2023 due to a hip injury.
On the other hand, Naveen has been facing ‘Virat Kohli chants’ since his verbal spat with the former India skipper. Whenever the former plays a game irrespective of any ground, he has been taunted with Kohli chants. However, this time around, he managed to get a solution to it although the fans weren’t ready to let go.
In the fourth over of the MI innings, Haq took the wicket of opposition skipper Rohit Sharma. The latter was caught at extra cover by Ayush Badoni. After this, Afghanistan international pulled off the celebration.

Crazy scenes at Chepauk. Every Naveen-ul-Haq delivery is an event and chants of "Kohli, Kohli" get louder with every wide he bowls.

A section of Chepauk crowd is chanting Kohli's name every time Naveen-ul-Haq runs into bowl. So that should explain his celebration after picking up a wicket.

Naveen-ul-Haq took four wickets in the game
Meanwhile, the right-arm medium pacer provided the first breakthrough in the form of MI skipper Sharma. The five-time winners had a great start after scoring 29/0. However, Haq didn’t stop there. He broke the partnership of 66 runs between Suryakumar Yadav and Cameron Green as Naveen took the wicket of the former. Haq also took the wickets of Tilak Verma and Nehal Wadhera.
These wickets helped the Krunal Pandya-led side to restrict MI to 182/8. The former champions were looking like getting past 200 runs when Yadav and Green were batting. Naveen took four wickets. After the first innings, he claimed that the wicket will get better in the ongoing second innings.
“The ball is coming onto the bat,” Naveen-ul-Haq said in the mid-game. “And it’s a better wicket than the one for Chennai-GT game.”
