Faf du Plessis has revealed that Virat Kohli is the fastest player from Bangalore on the field. Over the years. the duo have been regarded among the best fielders in the game. They have preferred fielding high-traffic areas during the matches. Here, high-traffic areas refer to where the ball travels the most. Meanwhile, after the game between Rajasthan and Bangalore, the Bangalore skipper was asked about who is fastest among him and former skipper Virat Kohli.
Du Plessis said that Kohli is at the pinnacle in terms of fitness and will inform the latter’s fans. “Virat is up there (in terms of fitness), I’ll tell that for his fans,” the former South Africa skipper said. The Proteas batter was appointed as the skipper of the team ahead of the ongoing 15th season. The decision was taken with Kohli stepping down after the last season. The 33-year-old led the team from 2013 to 2021.
