1) New Zealand vs India, Hamilton, 2019 – 92
Shubman Gill, the Indian batter, made his debut on 31st January 2019 and the Men in Blue registered the lowest first-innings total between the two sides with the debutant contributing 9 runs to India’s scoreboard. For the unversed, it was the Black Caps who won the toss and elected to field first in the fourth game of the five-match series.
Much to the dreariness of the Indian fans, with the middle-order struggling after the initial hiccup, they were bowled out within the 100-run mark, with New Zealand chasing down the target with 8 wickets to spare. However, it was India who won the series 4-1, with their only loss being the fourth face-off.
