The T20 fever has taken over the entire globe with the 20-20 World Cup enthralling the fans with riveting cricketing action. Bollywood also found it hard to escape from the cricket fever as actors Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khattar were seen in the Star Sports Studio. During the special show, Katrina Kaif was also seen batting against Harbhajan Singh.
In the video, Katrina is seen throwing the leather ball to Harbhajan to bowl. However, Akash Chopra advised to not use it inside the studio. Following that, Harbhajan was presented with the ‘smiley balls’ to bowl to the actress. While facing the former Indian off-spinner Katrina stated that it was a bit difficult for her to bat while wearing high heels but it was no problem.
After failing to time the first ball, Katrina hilariously called it a ‘wide’ to which everyone in the studio agreed. As Katrina managed to hit some balls, the anchor from behind the stumps was heard saying, “What are you doing? You’re not bowling to Matthew Hayden.” Harbhajan further encouraged the actress to give a mighty blow to the deliveries and hit it for a six. Katrina finally managed to hit the ball in the air on the final ball as everyone cheered for her.

Actors Katrina Kaif and Ishan Khattar marked their presence in the Star Sports studio to promote their upcoming film ‘Phone Bhoot’ which is set to release on 4th November 2022. The film has Katrina Kaif, Ishan Khattar and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the lead roles. The movie directed by Gurmmeet Singh is a horror comedy.

Meanwhile, India will face South Africa at Perth in their third match of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 starting at 4:30 pm. The game holds tremendous importance for the qualification scenario for Pakistan as if India manages to beat South Africa, the ‘Men-in-Green’ will remain in contention for the semi-final spot. However, if India loses today Pakistan’s only chance to qualify will depend on a washout of any of the remaining South Africa’s matches.
