The left-arm spinner represented Bangladesh in six Tests and 25 ODIs and picked up 5 and 23 wickets respectively. He was just 22-year-old when he passed away in March, 2007 and was the youngest Test cricketer to die. According to reports Manjural, was on a motorbike in Khulna when he lost his balance and collided with an oncoming bus.
He made his ODI debut in November 2003 at the age of 19 and took the wicket of Michael Vaughan on his third ball. It was the first time that any Bangladesh player had taken a wicket in his first international over.
