Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant met a life-threatening accident in the early morning Friday while travelling from Delhi to Uttarakhand. The 25-year-old managed to escape from the burning vehicle by breaking its glass. Following the incident, several photos and videos of the cricketer bleeding and getting treatment in the hospital were widely circulated all over social media.

Ritika took to her Instagram account and posted a story where she wrote, “Shame on you for posting images and videos of someone who’s hurt and unable to decide whether or not they want that out there. They have family and friends who were terribly affected by these images. There’s journalism and then there’s just plain insensitivity.”

As per initial information, Pant was first admitted to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee. Now he has been referred to Max Hospital in Dehradun.
