Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant met with an accident early morning on Friday. The wicketkeeper batter managed to escape a near-fatal accident as he broke the car’s window and escaped from the burning four-wheeler. However, Pant is not the first cricketer to have met an accident while driving a car. Several cricketers in the past have met fatal accidents. 5 Runako Morton

West Indies batter Runako Morton lost his life in a road accident in March 2012 after his car crashed into a utility pole on the Solomon Hochoy Highway in Chase Village in central Trinidad. Morton represented West Indies in 15 Tests, 56 ODIs and 7 T20Is. His last appearance for his country came against Australia in a T20I in 2010. He scored 573 runs in 15 Tests at an average of 22.03 with four half-centuries. He had a better record as a one-day player, scoring 1519 runs at an average of 33.75 with two centuries and ten fifties. He also scored 96 runs in seven T20Is.
