The organizers of any sporting event have always maintained that they work hard to provide a comfortable experience for the fans. In the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022, there are venues where the fans can feel comfortable. At these venues, there are grass venues where the fans can feel like home. Meanwhile, a fan literally made herself at home during the game Group 2 game of the First Round. The game was played between Scotland and West Indies.

In the incident happened during the Scotland’s innings. In an image that is doing the rounds, a lady was seen leaning on to her partner and wrapped in a blanket. Apparently, its winters in Australia and it is quite strong even though it is the end phase of the season. Summers will start kicking in Down Under in the near future. Meanwhile, the image of the incident is going viral on social media.

Talking about the game, Scotland beat West Indies by 42 runs to kick off their campaign. With this, Scotland has become the second team after Namibia to pull off an upset. On October 16, the Africa-based team beat 2014 winners, Sri Lanka to start the tournament.

Phil Simmons unhappy with his team’s batting

After the loss against Scotland, West Indies head coach expressed his displeasure over the team’s performance with the bat. He said “I think the only world you can look for is ‘disappointed’. I think our batting – at least today – was definitely a bit unprofessional,” Simmons said. “We need to wake up and start being as professional as we can be, when we are batting. The bowlers seem to be working hard and putting us in good positions but the batters continue to falter.”

“I don’t know. I haven’t questioned the dressing room yet; let them calm down a little bit first. I need to calm down a little bit first before I go into the dressing room,” he said. “There were too many soft dismissals. As batsmen, you have to pay a lot more attention to your wicket. Every time we play, we are up there with the run rate; it doesn’t matter who we are playing against.
