Former West Indies skippers, Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard had banter with each other over the most successful IPL teams. The former is now the bowling coach of the Chennai Super Kings after retiring from the league. On the other hand, Pollard is the batting coach of the Mumbai Indians after retiring. Both teams have won five IPL titles, with CSK winning the 2023 edition.

On the other hand, MI won their last title in 2020. In the last three seasons, they have qualified for the playoffs once. Meanwhile, in a video uploaded by Bravo on his official Instagram handle, he asked the fans to settle the debate about the most successful side. In the video, the coaches of these teams had a banter just like they have had over the years.

Can someone help me settle this debate??? . Apparently the LLORD @kieron.pollard55 believes that his team is the most successful IPL team ?. Let the record show that @chennaiipl is the most successful IPL team. Furthermore, he @kieron.pollard55 wants to talk about trophies ???. Let the records show AGAIN this is now my 17th title while @kieron.pollard55 you are still on #15 ?????. You have some serious catching up to do ???. Put some respect on my name please???. Thank you very much ???? #sirchampion,” the video was captioned.

Dwayne Bravo didn’t want Mumbai Indians to reach IPL 2023 final

During the IPL 2023 playoffs, the two-time 20-20 World Cup winner said that he didn’t want MI to reach the final.

“No, I am scared of Mumbai (laughs). We don’t see it like that. All three other teams are dangerous teams. They are quality teams,” Bravo told Star Sports after CSK’s 15-run win over Gujarat.

“Yeah, I mean, honestly, my personal feeling, I don’t want Mumbai. My friend Pollard knows that. But, jokes aside, all the best to the other teams. We are looking forward to whoever we are going to face. I think we have got it,” he added.
