The third T20I between Pakistan and England took place on Friday at the National Stadium. England comprehensively beat Pakistan by 63 runs. After Pakistan’s loss, the head coach of the team, Saqlain Mushtaq’s comments in the post-match presentation have been going viral on social media.
Reacting to Pakistan’s loss in the match, the veteran Pakistan spinner gave a philosophical speech to the journalists. He drew parallels with day-night, summer-winter and rain clouds and said that the same way win-loss also have a close relationship. He further said that it’s the law of the universe and one cannot escape from it.
“Everyone sitting here wants Pakistan to win. We also want our country to win every single match. But the universe has life and death, day and night. There is no lack of effort from the players on the field and they also have a clear intent to win. So, keep praying for our victory,” Mushtaq further added.

Coming back to the match, Babar Azam won the toss and invited England to bat first. Ben Duckett and Harry Brook emerged as the stars of the England innings. The duo came together at the crease and launched an all-out attack on the Pakistan bowlers.
They were involved in an unbeaten stand of 139 off 69 balls which took their team to a massive score of 221/3 after 20 overs. Duckett scored an unbeaten 70 off 42 balls while Brook remained not out on 81 off 35 balls. Pakistan’s reply to England’s massive target got off to a miserable start as they lost four wickets for 28 runs.
Shan Masood and Khushdil Shah tried to rescue the innings with a solid 62-run stand but fell behind on the net run rate. Pakistan faced an uphill task of scoring 131 runs in 49 balls which proved to be too much for their lower order and tail as they faltered under immense pressure.
England registered a comprehensive win by 63 runs and took a 2-1 lead in the seven-match series. The comments of the Pakistan head coach left the fans in splits as they couldn’t stop themselves from coming up with hilarious memes.
