There is a massive hype around India vs Pakistan cricket match in the Asia Cup that is scheduled for the 28th of August. It is understandable as these two historically great cricketing nations have stopped playing against each other in a bilateral series due to political differences. This makes their less frequent matchups in the multilateral series even more special and much awaited. India and Pakistan will go against each other once again in the Asia Cup T20, which is starting on August 27th in UAE.
Recently, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has come up with great news for cricket fans and announced that the ticket sales for upcoming India vs Pakistan cricket match will begin on August 15th.
Tweeting about this info, the ACC said, “Ticket sales for Asia Cup 2022 go up for sale on August 15th. Visit the link below from Monday onwards to book your tickets:” ACC tweeted on Saturday night with a link to platinumlist.net. The tweet also contained the entire schedule of the Asia Cup T20.

There are a total of six teams participating in the Asia Cup namely, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and one more team, that is yet to qualify.
The Indian team are currently readying itself for the Zimbabwe series which is scheduled to begin on August 18th. India and Zimbabwe will play three ODIs before India fly to UAE for their first match of the Asia Cup against Pakistan. Pakistan, on the other hand, are preparing for their ODI series against the Netherlands.
Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will play in the curtain raiser for the Asia Cup T20 series on August 27th. Talking of the Asia Cup, it was scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka but due to the economic crisis in the country, it has to be moved to the UAE.
ACC in a statement said, “Considering the prevailing situation in Sri Lanka, the ACC after extensive deliberation has unanimously concluded that it would be appropriate to relocate the tournament from Sri Lanka to UAE.”
