In the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy, Virat Kohli hammered a magnificent century to mark his presence in the game. With his amazing score of 186 runs, India took a steady lead of 91 runs over Australia. It was Virat’s 28th Test century which came almost after 3 years and four months. Notably, he scored his last Test century against Bangladesh in November 2019.
Celebrating his century, Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma praised the former India captain. She also revealed his sickness while playing the innings. Anushka shared a video of Virat during the Sunday Test match, and wrote,
“Playing through sickness with his composure. Always inspiring me.” Meanwhile, to commemorate the occasion, Virat dedicated the special knock to Anushka.
Virat and Anushka were spotted visiting the Ujjain shrine ahead of the Test match. With their daughter Vamika, the pair is frequently spotted visiting temples and ashrams. Anushka was reported by ANI as saying of their recent visit to the Ujjain temple,
“We came here to give prayers and had a good darshan at Mahakaleshwar Temple.”
India need to put on an amazing performance on Day 5
Going to the fifth and final day of the ongoing Ahmedabad Test, Rohit Sharma and Co. need to put up a masterclass to win the game. Australia, after scoring 3 runs in the second innings, are trailing India by 88 runs at stumps on day 4. Hosts will look to bundle up Aussies as soon as possible so that they can have a result in the game.
Notably, India need to win this game to qualify for the final of the Test Championship. Australia, who has already qualified for the same, will look to draw the game and finish it on a higher note. Meanwhile, fans react to Anushka Sharma’s comments about Virat’s sickness. A Twitter user said, “sympathy gainer.”

The best thing about Kohli is that he never told anyone he was sick. He did not want to cause any tensions in the dressing room.
