‘Ab Bangladesh ki wajah se ye qualify karenge’ – Fans react to South Africa qualifying for the World Cup 2023

After the very first one-day international involving Ireland with Bangladesh ended in a washout, South Africa received straight qualification on Tuesday to participate in the 50-over Cricket World Cup in India later this year.

If Ireland wanted to move past the 11th spot in the points standings, they needed to win all three of their games against Bangladesh in a series that was played at Chelmsford, the county seat of Essex, England. Ireland cannot overtake South Africa in their World Cup Super League rankings even if they win the current series 2-0. England, India, New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, the current champions, have already secured their spots.
