Mumbai Indians have signed England cricketer, Chris Jordan mid-way in the ongoing IPL 2023. MI is the only team to have played only seven games in the season. Most of the teams have played eight while Kolkata Knight Riders have played nine. Meanwhile, Jordan, who has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, and Chennai Super Kings, will now play for the five-time winners.
On the other hand, Jordan has been named as the replacement but it hasn’t been made clear for whom. The 20-20 World Cup 2022 winner has played 27 games and has 28 wickets since 2016. Talking about MI, they have struggled as far as their bowling is concerned. Ahead of the tournament, Jasprit Bumrah and Jhye Richardson were ruled out. On the other hand, Jofra Archer has been in and out of the team.
He has come back from a meeting with an elbow specialist from Belgium. He might not be available in their upcoming home game against Rajasthan Royals. Talking about this game, it will be between number two (RR) vs number nine (MI). Meanwhile, the fans aren’t impressed with the decision of the Blue Brigade.
