India’s tour of the West Indies is all set to begin on 22nd July 2022 with the first One Day International scheduled to be played at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. Both the teams are coming into the series having contrasting mindsets. While India are fresh from a series victory against England in their own den, West Indies were whitewashed by Bangladesh in a three-match series recently.

India recently became the first team to beat England at their home in ODI series after 8 years. The men-in-blue were also the last team to beat England in 2014. They clinched the series 2-1 on the back of heroic performances from Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya.
