Anushka, who made her last appearance in “Zero,” has drawn public attention when it was revealed that she and her spouse, Virat Kohli were seeking medical treatment abroad.
The pair has been the subject of rumours about the actress’s health since they welcomed their first child Vamika Kohli. Anushka and Kohli have not responded to the persistent reports that they are expecting a child. But their lack of visibility in the media has stoked further rumours.
The issue was recently made public by journalist Abhishek Tripathi, who tweeted about it. He mentioned people who were close to the couple. Tripathi claims that Anushka’s health problems played a factor in the couple’s choice to see a doctor overseas.
He emphasised that Virat Kohli’s intention to help his family at this period was to take some time off from his professional obligations, as previously acknowledged by AB de Villiers. In addition to wishing the couple well and preserving their privacy, Tripathi’s tweet emphasised this point.
Virat Kohli had travelled to Ayodhya to attend the Pran Pratishtha celebration along with many other dignitaries. But due to a complication in Anushka’s health, he had to head back home.

This development follows AB de Villiers’ original remarks in a YouTube video. In that video he implied that it was since Anushka was expecting their second child and thus Kohli was putting his family first. During a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, de Villiers eventually withdrew his claim. He acknowledged that he had disseminated misleading facts and expressing his remorse for the incident.
