England played against the Netherlands in what seemed like practice matches for the visitors. From making a world record score in the first ODI to a hoard of individual sixes by Jos Butler, the series was a party of sorts for the England team. The third ODI brought out a similar instance when Butler showed his skills with the bat.
One incident that caught the eye of many on social media was a six by Jos Butler. This was however not a normal six but one that came off of a rather unusual ball. The incident happened in the 29th over when Butler was hitting the ball brutally.
Paul van Meekeren bowled a delivery that bounced off the middle of the pitch and again bounced outside the pitch on the leg side. Butler being Butler did not let the ball go, but chased it on the leg side and hit it for a six.

This hilarious six is getting shared by many on social media. The ball was deemed a no-ball by the umpire and a free hit on the next ball. In true Butler fashion, the free hit was hit for another six as well.
Talking about the match, the Netherlands batted first and scored 244/10 in 49.2 overs. Max Odowd with 50(69), Bas de Leede with 56(78) and Scott Edwards with 64(72) were the biggest contributors to Netherlands’ score. In reply, the England batters made a mockery of the target and chased it in just 30.1 overs.
Jason Roy hit an impressive 101 off of just 86 deliveries with 15 boundaries to his name. Philip Salt who has been in an incredible form this series missed out on a half-century by just one run. His 49 runs came off 30 balls with nine fours. Jos Butler was at his usual best and his quickfire 86 off 64 balls brought out a lot of cheers from the crowd.
