Prior to India’s Virat Kohli’s Super Four match versus Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023, a supporter in Sri Lanka gave him a wonderful gift. Chandramohan Krishnanth, a net bowler for Sri Lanka, gave Virat Kohli a silver bat as a token of gratitude for his accomplishments in international cricket.
At the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the Babar Azam-led squad is now playing the Rohit Sharma-led team in the first Super Four stage match. Rain caused the previous match between the two squads during the group stage of the current competition in Pallekele to be called off.
Chandramohan Krishanth conveyed his happiness after giving Virat Kohli a silver bat. Krishanth remembered that he had first met Virat in 2017. He revealed that he has engraved all 76 of Virat Kohli’s international hundreds on a bespoke bat.
He spoke to the media after meeting Virat Kohli and said, “I am a big fan of Virat Kohli. The last time I met him was in 2017 during net practice. This is my small gift to him. This bat contains every century that he has scored to date. It took me three months to carve this bat.”

The Indian Cricket Board previously released a video of Virat Kohli conversing with local players and offering insightful tips on how to be ready for games.
Virat Kohli was seen giving advice to some aspiring young cricketers. He was seen hearing in the video as he said, “8 times out of 10, your mental strength will put you through. Because you are doing those 0.1-0.2 per cent things that others are not doing because they are not aware.”
The former Indian skipper added that “If you are aware of those things, you will get to know that 0.1-0.2 per cent things make the difference. All of them are out there to play cricket. So why do certain people do better than others… due to those little things,”
