The women’s Asia Cup 2022 is all set to begin on 1st October in Bangladesh. Featuring seven teams, the continental tournament will be played in a league format with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-final. India’s women’s team are coming on the back of registering a 3-0 ODI whitewash against England and are favourites to win the tournament.

Smriti Mandhana has played 95 matches for the country in which she has scored 2303 runs. An average of 27 and a strike rate of 122 speak volumes about her capability in the shortest format. Although it was an ODI series, the Mumbai born was the top-scorer in the recently concluded England series with 181 runs as well. She was also the second-highest run-getter in the T20I series with 111 runs in three matches.
