2. Anil Kumble
Ace India spinner Anil Kumble doesn’t require any introduction as his number speaks about him. He is India’s most successful bowler across the format as he clinched more than 950 wickets for India in Tests and ODIs. He is the highest wicket-taker for India in both Tests and ODIs with 619 and 337 wickets respectively.
Although, being on the list of a record related to batting is not Kumble’s cup of tea as he was not a fluent batter. He has scored just 938 runs in 271 games at an average of 10.17. He scored three consecutive ducks in 1996 during the India tour of England and the Singer World Series. On England’s tour in the last two games when England thrashed India, he got out for Duck and achieved the unwanted feat in the sixth game of the Singer World Series against Australia.
