Pacer Mark Wood’s comeback to the English side after a prolonged injury and surgery was very grand. With his brilliant speed, he always put batters under pressure. He made a significant contribution to England’s success in the Super 12 Stages.
Wood took 9 wickets at a bowling average of 12 in the four matches he played in the tournament. He also had a decent strike rate of 7.7 in the Super 12 Stages. In the semi-finals, the 32-year-old would like to get some more wickets.
