‘Your Alpha male heroes…’ – Kangana Ranaut sly reply to Animal filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga on offering her a role

Actor Kangana Ranaut has stated that she is open to working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, but she does not want him to offer her a role in his films. After Kangana attacked Sandeep’s film Animal, which starred Ranbir Kapoor, the director stated he didn’t mind her comment. Kangana and her work were commended by Sandeep in an interview with Siddharth Kannan.

Kangana tweeted in response to Sandeep’s remarks, saying, “Every kind of art should be reviewed and discussed; it is a normal thing. Review and criticism are not the same. It’s evident from the way Sandeep ji smiled at my review that he not only makes manly films but also has a manly demeanour. Thank you, sir.”

She continued in the post regarding her collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Adding further, “But please don’t ever give me any role otherwise your alpha male heroes will become feminists and then your films will also be beaten, you make blockbusters, the film industry needs you.”

Kangana Ranaut gives a befitting reply:

In the interview, Sandeep Reddy Vanga initially stated about Kangana, “I will go and narrate the story if I get a chance and if I feel she will fit into it.” Her performance in Queen and so many other films was truly amazing. So if she is giving a negative comment about ‘Animal’, I don’t mind. I don’t become upset either because I’ve seen her work. I’m not depressed.”

Prior to this, Kangana had criticised Animal in an X post. She described the trend as “discouraging” and claimed that people are flocking to theatres to see “women beating films.”

Kangana Ranaut retweeted a fan’s statement, which read, “Even though I have been fighting hard so far, audiences are encouraging women to beat films where they are treated like sex objects and asked to lick shoes. Paid negativity for my films is overwhelming. For someone who has dedicated her life to making films that support women, this is extremely disheartening.”

She may decide to change careers in the future and want to dedicate her best years to something meaningful. Kanagana Ranaut post also discussed the box office performance of her film Tejas, which got mixed reviews from critics and performed poorly.
