Sundar Pichai, Google’s CEO, has made a name for himself and the whole country after he ascended to such a big position. Since then, the Madurai-born has taken Google to massive profits and has been hailed as one of the best in the business.
Pichai is also an ardent cricket fan, not surprising since every kid in India plays cricket in his childhood. The recently held India vs Pakistan match is one of the biggest events of any Indian cricket aficionado and so it was for Sundar Pichai as well. On the day of Diwali, the Google CEO made a tweet wishing everyone a Happy Diwali and revealing his celebratory method. He wrote, “Happy Diwali! The tweet was a great way to include India’s win in Diwali wishes that many found quite witty and relatable as well. In just a couple of hours, the tweet received more than 173k thousand likes and close to 20k retweets.
The tweet gained much more attention following a witty reply to one user who wanted to troll Pichai. A user by the name Muhammad Shahzaib said, “you should watch 1st three overs” in order to plug Pakistan’s superior performance in the match.

What followed was a quick-witted replay from Pichai that has won the internet for today. While trolling the Pakistan fan back, Pichai said, “Did that too 🙂 what a spell from Bhuvi and Arshdeep, “citing India’s incredible bowling in the first three overs of the match.
Soon fans went wild with Pinchai’s hilarious response. One user by the name of Pluto said, “OMG Google CEO bodied Pakistani.” Another wrote, “you can take an Indian out of India but you cannot take India out of him.”
As for the match, it was a sensational game of cricket which went right down to the wire. India won the game on the very last over of the match with a Ravi Ashwin four. Virat Kohli with a knock of 82 off of 53 was the Player of the Match.
